Fully Restored (2 Corinthians 13:1-14)

Part of the Defending the Faith series, Sunday Evening service
Paul has been working with the Corinthian Church on and off for a number of years. They have seen great things, but are also struggling with their attitudes over factions, sin and Paul. Much has been resolved, but as Paul closes this letter he gives his final instructions so that they might be fully prepared for his coming visit. He writes so that they can address their faults themselves rather than needing Paul to come and deal with them more harshly. Our situation is different but has some parallels with theirs and so we too need to test ourselves to ensure that we are ready. Ready and restored, not to meet Paul, but to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
