Despite all the advantages life could offer him, Moses messed up. He failed when he should have been better. Rather than face up to his failings he ran away. However, God was not finished with him, just as our failures don’t mean he has finished with us. God had a task for Moses that would require someone truly heroic. Moses had to discover that he could only be that man with God working in him. We have that same power working in us so that we can complete the task he gives us to do, but we may still need to know his saving work in our lives first.
