How do you react when confronted with news of a crisis? We hear of so many crises through the news that we are left almost numb to them. For Nehemiah, he heard the shocking news of the continued defencelessness of Jerusalem and, even though he was miles away in Susa, he took the most important action that he could. He prayed! He prayed, fasted and wept for four months. During that time, he received some guidance on what to do next. This evening we will look at how we can pray in response to the crises that we hear of.
