The Spirit Breaks Boundaries (Acts 11:1-26)
Roger Senior, 26 November 2017
Part of the Church Anniversary series, Sunday Morning service
When the gospel first spread to Gentile communities it was the Spirit who took the lead. He not only brought Cornelius to faith, He also helped the apostle Peter to accept that the people of God includes all kinds of people. We too need to be sensitive to where the Spirit is working and seek to cooperate with Him in His work. We must also be open to Him changing our views of “church” just as He changed Peter’s. As we do this the Spirit will work through each one of us in the extension of God’s kingdom.
