Hope, Joy and Peace (Luke 2:8-20)

Part of the Christmas Day 2017 series, Sunday Morning service
Where are you looking to find hope, joy and peace this Christmastime? For the shepherds in the hills outside Bethlehem, they had little hope, barely any joy and so the peace in their lives would have quickly become boredom. However, one night they had a visitor that changed everything for them and what he told them along with what they did about it gave filled them with hope, overflowing with joy and resting in God’s peace. That same message comes to us with the promise of a similar effect if we too discover what there is to know about the baby in the manger.
