We are a relaxed church. Wear what you like (our regulars wear anything from jeans to jacket and tie). Sit anywhere and ask someone if you’re not sure (there’s always a welcome team at the doors). Expect to pray, sing, and hear a speaker a passage from the Bible and how we should respond to it. Overall we aim to know the living God and worship him in Spirit and truth.
Overall we aim for a mix of worship styles and seek to teach the Bible in an applied and relevant manner. The sermon topics are usually part of a series – either themed or working through a particular book of the Bible. There is an opportunity for prayer ministry at the end of both Sunday services with a member of our prayer ministry team.
An accessible ramp is located at the side/Chambers Street entrance to the church.
We would love you to join us at one of our regular Sunday services. For details of this Sunday, please see the notice sheet.
In the morning we run a Family Service at 10.15am. Crèche facilities and children’s and youth groups are available. We meet all together for the first 15 minutes and then the children and young people leave for their age-related groups. Before and after the morning service, we meet in the church hall for tea and coffee; we call this Meeting Point.
Communion is normally celebrated in our morning services on the third Sunday of the month. As a church, we have an open communion table; if you know and love the Lord Jesus you are welcome to partake. Please see our morning teaching schedule for more information on this term’s preaching series.
We also have a service at 6:30 in the evening. The evening services are varied in structure and style, whilst still including elements of music, prayer and teaching. Please see the weekly notice sheet for more information on this week’s services.
