We would love to welcome you and your friends to HBC!
Sunday mornings Year 6-9
We start in the main 10.15am gathering*, before heading out to our dedicated youth lounge at around 10.30am
We play games, get to know each other, explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus, and what the Bible is says to us today.
*Remember, you will need to register at the check-in desk first, between 10-10.15am. If you are new or visiting, your parents/carers will need to fill in a registration form. They can do that online via this form:
Sunday mornings Year 10-13
The majority of our older youth stay in the morning gathering. There are times of sung worship, a talk from the Bible, and creative ways to pray. We also offer journaling sheets to help you focus and doodle.
Once a month, after the worship, we head out to a local coffee shop with a couple of leaders, to hang out together and chat about what God is saying to us.
We believe that all our young people have a vital part to play in the life of HBC, so once a month there are opportunities to serve and volunteer on different teams such as kids, production, hospitality, worship etc.
Thursday evenings Year 10-13s
Our Thursday evening discipleship group is a great place to explore life, faith and purpose! We meet from 7.00-8.30pm, in the youth lounge.
Each week we open up the Bible, apply this to our lives, and think about what it means to follow Jesus today. There are creative ways to explore worship and prayer (through music, art, poetry etc), opportunities to talk about world events and how we might respond to these as Christians.....and obviously we have snacks and refreshments too! Everyone who comes also gets a fantastic journalling notebook.
